Role is principally office based but will include some customer & exhibition work both UK & overseas.

 

Business qualification & experience required HND equivalent + 5 years work or degree + 2 years work.
Knowledge, qualification, work experience of infection prevention, decontamination, surgery an advantage.

 

The successful candidate will start July to cover daily customer management, product sales, managing many aspects of marketing in this small but busy company –strategy planning, implementation and reporting along with working face to face with specific distributors & customers.

Details of position:

The successful candidate should have comprehensive knowledge in decontamination processes, equipment, facilities and management particularly within a Decontamination/Clinical background, ensuring all decontamination and production issues are professionally managed. The management of the Sterile Services facilities entails the forward planning, development and management of all resources, ensuring provisions are effectively and efficiently in place to meet demands of Theatres, Wards, Departments and Health Centres. You’ll be expected to work within the framework of clinical governance and patient safety, supporting the delivery of quality services which are mirrored in patient feedback and satisfaction. This post requires experience in NHS management, supported by a professional qualification (or equivalent) in the management of sterile services or a related discipline with a proven track record of managing a complex and demanding environment.

 

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the code of conduct throughout your employment.

Salary: £30,460 - £40,157 PER ANNUM

We are seeking an inspirational leader who will manage two multi-user and ‘state of the art’ sterile service units, located at Eastleigh in Hampshire and Tiverton in Devon.

The Nuffield Health Sterile Services division has grown rapidly over the last three years. We are now seeking an experienced Sterile Services Manager, who will continue to grow the business whilst ensuring that the highest quality standards are maintained for all our customers. 

We are seeking applications from candidates who have operated ‘large’, facilities as well as from individuals who may be operating smaller units, but wish to develop their careers. Notwithstanding this, it is essential that all candidates are able to demonstrate a high level of technical expertise in sterile services and strong leadership potential.
